The 2025-26 season will be the final year of a three-year contract that Kuzmin signed with the Winnipeg Jets before being traded to the Chicago Blackhawks. Kuzmin has shown nothing offensively since turning pro during the 2023-24 season. In two seasons with the Manitoba Moose and Rockford IceHogs, Kuzmin has produced 12 points (four goals and eight assists) in 69 regular-season games. During the 2023-24 season was sent down to the ECHL Norfolk Admirals and played 24 regular-season games, scoring two goals and adding seven assists. One positive from the 2024-25 season is that he avoided a stint in the ECHL. It is not out of the question to see Kuzmin play out his contract and head overseas to further his career in 2026-27. There is no reason to have Kuzmin on your fantasy radar; he has no fantasy value.

The Chicago Blackhawks acquired Kuzmin from the Winnipeg Jets on January 15, 2025, for defenseman Isaak Phillips. Kuzmin recorded four points (one goal and three assists) in 21 games with the Manitoba Moose during the 2024-25 campaign.
Kuzmin will participate in the 2024 Young Stars Classic in Penticton, B.C, September 13-16, 2024, with the Winnipeg Jets. After splitting the 2023-24 season in the AHL and ECHL, Kuzmin will be allowed to become a mainstay with the Manitoba Moose during the 2024-25 campaign.
Kuzmin attended the Winnipeg Jets development camp on July 3-7, 2024.
Kuzmin made his AHL debut on December 8 after being recalled to the Manitoba Moose on November 28. He played two games with the Moose before being reassigned to the ECHL’s Norfolk Admirals on December 12. In 10 ECHL games this season, Kuzmin has one goal and one assist. Mark Henry
