Vuollet’s sophomore SHL season was more about staying power than a true offensive jump. He held a regular role with Skellefteå all year, finishing the 2025-26 regular season with 51 games, three goals, and four assists, then adding three playoff appearances as the club leaned on him as a depth option against men. Skellefteå also showed real belief in the longer view, extending him for two more years on Dec. 28, with the new deal running through 2027-28. The offensive flashes were there in pockets, not waves. He scored the equalizer against HV71 on Feb. 5, chipped in two assists in a 6-3 win over Växjö on Jan. 10, and got on the board in the playoffs with a deflection goal against Malmö on March 29. That still reads like a support-winger track more than a driver’s track. The next step is forcing more touches through the middle of the ice, turning retrievals into second plays, and creating enough repeat offense that his SHL minutes become harder to push down the lineup. The season kept him on a credible pro path, but it did not yet settle whether there is enough pace and inside pressure here for a true NHL push.

Vuollet skated his rookie campaign with Skelleftea of the SHL in 2024-2025. Young prospects playing in the SHL generally don’t put up notable offensive numbers- Vuollet managed four goals and five assists in 44 games- but their presence at the higher level at all, rather than plying their trade in the lower leagues, is a solid sign of the team’s confidence in their abilities. The time playing against usually bigger, older and more experienced players allows the young men to hone their skills and develop better habits.

After starting the preliminary games in the top six for Team Sweden, Vuollet was moved to the bottom line, where he played the entirety of the World Juniors. Outside of one goal scored in a blowout win over Kazakhstan, Vuollet was largely absent, mainly due to only getting around four to five minutes a night. Since rejoining Skelleftea in the SHL, he has one point in two games. Vuollet has been solid in a fourth-line role with Skelleftea, where he has four goals and four assists in 27 games after spending 15 games with Skelleftea last season without getting a point. The 2024-25 season has got off to a strong start for Vuollet; he is already playing more games with the SHL’s Skelleftea this year than last. In 17 games played, Vuollet has four goals and three assists for seven points while primarily playing in the bottom six. Vuollet scored a hat trick on October 1st while being the 13th forward. His perimeter work has stayed impressive, while a significant change he has made this season has been his willingness and desire to drive the middle of the ice. Vuollet is currently with the Sweden U20 team in their last tournament before the World Junior Championships. He wants to push to represent his country at the tournament.

After starting the season with Skelleftea AIK’s J20 team, Vuollet has been a mainstay in the SHL. In nine games, Vuollet has four goals and two assists for six points while mainly playing a bottom-six role. Most notably, Vuollet notched his first hat trick in the SHL in just 11 minutes of ice time on October 1st in a game against Lulea. Vuollet has been known as a sniper but has primarily stayed on the perimeter in the past two years. However, this year, he’s willing to head to the middle near the front of the net and grind out gritty goals. His finesse in board battles and his ability to win the puck against more prominent players have flashed multiple times this season. His projection as a top-nine playmaking wing is still pretty accurate, but these flashes of development while staying with the SHL roster are encouraging.

After putting up top-five numbers in the J20 a year prior- 29 goals, 32 assists for 61 points in 41 games- he didn’t have much left to prove in the lower levels. He doesn’t have a single stand out offensive skill, and is a well rounded player.

He will head back to the SHL for his sophomore season and aim to carve out a more prominent role in his second go around. It’s a bit too early to know what we have in Vuollet, and roster space in more shallow leagues could be spent on higher octane or closer players.
